Stay Safe in the sun

As the weather becomes , as the tabloids would say, a “scorcher” thought I would see what action I could take to stay safe.

1)      Stay well hydrated -this was advised by various sites. Recommendations is to drink (as an adult) at least 2 litres of water a day.

2)      Don’t spare the lotion – apply plenty of sun screen, HHS recommends SPF 30 or higher with at least 4-star UVA protection

3)      NHS also advises that you should cover up – wear hats and sunglasses.

4)      Protect the young, Keep babies under 6 months completely out off direct strong sunlight.        Source https://www.nhs.uk › Healthy living › Seasonal health
